Strikingly, BGJ 398 increased the intensity of Dox-mediated fluorescence in Tx-R cells (Figure 2B—right lower image), but not in naïve HCC 1806 cells (Figure 2B—right upper image), thereby illustrating an ability of this FGFR inhibitor to attenuate the function of ABC-transporters upregulated in the resistant TNBCs.
