This point was also supported by a dramatic increase of apoptotic markers (e.g., cleaved PARP and caspase-3, increased numbers of Annexin V-positive cells, etc.)in PTX-resistant TNBCs treated with the combination of PTX and BGJ 398 (Figure 6 and Figure 7, respectively) and was consistent with a high Synergy score (>10) observed for all Tx-R cancer cells treated with both compounds indicated above (Figure 9, Table 2).
