CD68 and neoplasm: Samples that contained a high number of CD68+ cells also contained a high number of CD163+ cells (p = 0.002), but this association between the number of CD68+ cells and CD163+ cells was slightly less straightforward when samples were split into three groups: low number (less than 5% of the overall number of cells within the tumor tissue), intermediate number (5–25% of the overall number of cells within the tumor tissue) and high number (over 25% of the overall number of cells within the tumor tissue).
