Previous studies have reported a role for SUCNR1 in acute colitis [26], arthritis [30,50,51], isoproterenol-induced myocardial ischemia [52], obesity and diabetes [31], but as far as we know, the present study was the first to show a role for this receptor in the in vivo regulation of inflammasome priming.
