Unlike colorectal cancer, very little is known on the efficacy of biologics in the treatment of advanced SBA; some reports describe the molecular landscape of this carcinoma, demonstrating that 40–60% of SBAs carry a KRAS mutation [5], similar to what is observed in mCRC, and thus suggesting a potential response to epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) inhibitors.
