In doing so, we found that six of the identified DEGs were overexpressed in patients with ovarian cancer compared to those without and that these six DEGs were also consistently expressed in higher abundance in the VTE cohort compared to the non-VTE control cohort: MT1M, CHIT1, EPHX3, RGS2, RASD1, and COL24A1. This evidence concerns the gene RASD1 and ovarian cancer.
