Circulating GDF15 and FGF21 levels can be used to predict the diagnosis and prognosis of metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular diseases [16,17], while 8-Oxo-2′-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) and malondialdehyde (MDA) have been frequently used as serum biomarkers for oxidative stress in cancer, psychiatry, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, and various cardiovascular diseases [18,19]. Here, GDF15 is linked to cardiovascular disorder.
