The most frequently amplified chromosomal loci in the whole bladder carcinoma cohort include locus 1q23.3, which encodes for NECTIN4 and is amplified in 17.2% of cases, 6p22.3, which encodes for SOX4 and E2F3 and is amplified in 15.7% of cases, 11q13.3 which includes the locus of the gene encoding for cyclin D1, CCND1 and is amplified in 11% of cases, and 8p11.23, which encodes for NSD3 and FGFR1 and is amplified in 8.8% of cases. This evidence concerns the gene CCND1 and urinary bladder carcinoma.
