Indeed, many studies have shown that HMGA2 plays an important role in the malignant process of HCC, and in addition to the miR-627-3p, there are multiple miRNAs, such as miR-497, miR-33a-5p, miR-196-5p, let-7b-5p implicated in the regulation of HMGA2 in different contexts [28–31]. This evidence concerns the gene HMGA2 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
