Mice with BLM-induced lung fibrosis treated with anticorisin mAtb showed low plasma and BALF levels of osteopontin and MUC-1, reduced BALF MUC5B level, decreased number of apoptotic lung cells, and reduced cleavage of caspase-3 (Fig. 6a–e). This evidence concerns the gene MUC1 and pulmonary fibrosis.
