ACSL4 and cervical carcinoma: The current study demonstrated that, i) circLMO1 expression was down-regulated in cervical cancer, ii) circLMO1 inhibited cervical cancer growth and metastasis, iii) circLMO1 promoted cervical cancer cell ferroptosis, iv) circLMO1 acted as a sponge for miR-4291 in cervical cancer cells, v) circLMO1 up-regulated ACSL4 expression through sponging miR-4291, and vi) circLMO1 inhibited cervical cancer cell proliferation and invasion by promoting miR-4291/ACSL4-dependent ferroptosis.
