Similarly, the number of RGS5 and Fn positive cells was significantly reduced in the aortas of mice infused with angiotensin II (AngII), and it was nearly disappeared with aneurysm formation (Sham, 48.02±5.32% vs. AngII, 16.06±2.15% vs. AAA, 2.44±0.54%) (Fig 5D–5F). The gene discussed is RGS5; the disease is triple-A syndrome.
