PARP1 and ovarian carcinoma: Since Olaparib7 was approved as the first PARP-1 inhibitor to treat advanced ovarian cancer associated with defective BRCA mutations in 2014, several PARP inhibitors were approved subsequently, including Rucaparib8, Niraparib9, Talazoparib10, Fluzoparib11,12, and Pamiparib13,14 (Figure 1).
