Since Olaparib7 was approved as the first PARP-1 inhibitor to treat advanced ovarian cancer associated with defective BRCA mutations in 2014, several PARP inhibitors were approved subsequently, including Rucaparib8, Niraparib9, Talazoparib10, Fluzoparib11,12, and Pamiparib13,14 (Figure 1). This evidence concerns the gene PARP1 and ovarian cancer.
