In contrast, CD68+ monocyte-derived cells and CD11c+CD68+ cells were more frequent at the infiltrating edge (P = 0.0164 and P = 0.0052, respectively) as well as within the tumor area (P = 0.0029 and P = 0.0007, respectively) of glioma specimens relative to brain metastases (Figure 2, B and C).
