Throughout the TME (adjacent brain/infiltrating edge, tumor, and regions of necrosis), CD3+p-STAT3– T cell/CD163+pSTAT3– macrophage clusters were significantly more common in brain metastases (P = 0.024, P = 0.01, and P = 0.045, respectively) (Figure 5B and Figure 6).
