CD4 and Kaposi's sarcoma: The odds for KS was 48% (adjusted OR 0.52, 95% CI 0.34–0.80, p < 0.01) lower in females compared to males, and every 100 cell/mm3 increase in CD4 T-cell count reduced the odds for KS by 13% (adjusted OR 0.87, 95% CI 0.76–0.99, p = 0.04).
