In the present study, we firstly demonstrated that STEAP1 was overexpressed at mRNA levels in CESC, COAD, DLBC, ESCA, GBM, HNSC, KIRC, LGG, LUAD, LUSC, OV, PAAD, PRAD, READ, SKCM, STAD, TGCT, THYM, UCEC, and UCS cancer tissues compared with corresponding adjacent tissues while STEAP1 was downregulated in ACC, BRCA, KICH, LAML, and THCA, indicating that STEAP1 served as a potential oncogene in most cancers. This evidence concerns the gene STEAP1 and cancer.
