The rate of glucose infusion required to maintain euglycemia during hyperinsulinemia (M-value) was also unchanged (7.7 ± 3.8 vs. 8.5 ± 4.7 mg/kg/min, air vs. AIH, p = 0.10) after correcting for plasma insulin levels (M/I-value) (8.7 ± 3.9 vs. 9.2 ± 5.0 mg/kg/min/μU/ml, air vs. AIH, p = 0.54) [Fig. 1D]. This evidence concerns the gene INS and autoimmune hepatitis.
