CD34 and placental insufficiency: Implementing multiple linear and binary logistic regression analyses revealed that UCM in preterm neonates with antenatal evidence of placental insufficiency resulted in greater CD34 percentage, higher initial hemoglobin level, higher peak serum bilirubin, significant increase of phototherapy initiation, and higher hemoglobin level at 2 months of age independent of the gestational age compared with ICC (Table 4).
