miR-145-3p, which is downregulated in multiple myeloma, targets the histone deacetylase 4 (HDAC4) that regulates, among other genes, the transcription of BIM. In consequence, low miR-145-3p expression is associated with reduced Bim expression, upregulation of mTOR and cell survival (Wu et al., 2020). This evidence concerns the gene HDAC4 and AL amyloidosis.
