Although we were able to reveal effects of kinase inhibitors on Ag presentation, it was surprising that signalling inhibition only partially reduced (soluble anti-IgM) or had no effect (bead anti-IgM) on Ag presentation by CLL cells to SKW3-T18 cells as signalling has been shown to play a significant role in Ag presentation by normal B cells [4, 5, 42, 43]. The gene discussed is CD40LG; the disease is B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
