INS and pancreatitis: In a pilot clinical trial, Khan et al.15reported the reducing and increasing effects of recombinant human ACE2 on Ang II levels and Ang (1–7) levels, respectively in ARDS. Santuchi et al.16reported the anti‐inflammatory properties of Ang (1–7). Further, Yu et al.17showed that Ang (1–7) could offer anti‐inflammatory properties in pancreatitis by inhibiting the p38 MAPK/NF‐κB signaling pathway. Likewise, some other studies have shown the anti‐inflammatory and anti‐fibrotic effects, increasing insulin secretion, and reducing ROSs of Ang (1–7).18, 19, 20
