In HCC, the IκB kinase (IKKβ) phosphorylated and stabilized USP30, which promoted USP30 to deubiquitinate the critical lipogenesis-related enzyme-ATP citrate lyase (ACLY) (Bauer et al., 2005; Burke and Huff, 2017), and prompted the development of HCC (Gu et al., 2021). This evidence concerns the gene IKBKB and hepatocellular carcinoma.
