Although PLCβ1 and PLCγ1 appear to have an opposite trend in glioblastoma, these two enzyme isoforms do not seem to have a compensatory trend between each other (Supplementary Fig. 4), highlighting the importance of investigating deeply the pathological or protective role of phospholipases and their intermediaries in glioblastoma, making them potential targets in the search for new therapeutic approaches. This evidence concerns the gene PLCG1 and glioblastoma.
