Haplotypes of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of the MR gene (NR3C2) have been associated with depression (Klok, Giltay, et al., 2011b), with stress‐induced reward related learning deficits (Bogdan et al., 2010), and with cognitive function (Keller et al., 2017). The gene discussed is NR3C2; the disease is depressive disorder.
