Patients with HCC in the high-risk group had higher ratios of M0 macrophages, follicular helper T cells, memory B cells, memory activated CD4 T cells, and regulatory T cells (Tregs) than those in the low-risk group (p < 0.05); meanwhile, patients with HCC in the low-risk group had higher ratios of activated NK cells, M1 macrophages, monocytes, naïve B cells, resting mast cells, and memory resting CD4 T cells than those in the high-risk group (p < 0.05) (Figure 7B). This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
