ALB and chronic kidney disease: Calcium–phosphorus balance changed significantly in both groups, where phosphate (β =  − 0.07, p = 0.005) and i-PTH (β =  − 11.8, p = 0.05) decreased in CKD patients and albumin-adjusted calcium (β =  − 0.01, p = 0.01) and phosphate (β =  − 0.05, p = 0.002) decreased in CKD-T patients over time.
