The results showed that the expression level of c-Myc was negatively correlated with those of CD45 (the pan-leukocyte marker), CD4 (T-helper cell marker), and CD8 (CTL marker) in several kinds of human malignancies, including lung squamous cell carcinoma, skin cutaneous melanoma, uveal melanoma, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, and brain lower-grade glioma (Fig. 1A). Here, MYC is linked to uveal melanoma.
