In preliminary studies, we found that the expression levels of the classic proto-oncogenes, IGF2BP1, MYC, LIN28B and STAT3 in bladder cancer T24 cells were higher than those in normal cells, while the expression levels of the tumor suppressor genes FTO and TIA1 were negligible in T24 cells (Supplementary Fig. S10). This evidence concerns the gene LIN28B and urinary bladder carcinoma.
