CRP and hypertensive disorder: At univariate Cox regression analysis, a significantly higher risk of death was associated with demographic factors, including elderly age and smoking; laboratory variables, including lower levels of lymphocytes, red blood cells and oxygen saturation and higher levels of CRP, troponin and lactate dehydrogenase; and presence of several comorbidities, including hypertension, cardiovascular (CV) diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and chronic kidney disease.
