CD8A and neoplasm: In these studies, the authors found that tumour growth of four different transplantable tumours (B16-F10, 4T1, CT26, and Pan02) was significantly reduced (by approx. 100–600 mm3 at endpoint) by housing at thermoneutrality, and this was associated with increased proportions of CD8+ intratumoural T cells and decreased proportions of Foxp3+ intratumoural T cells (Kokolus et al., 2013).
