With insufficiency of specific examinations, we found 26 out of 35 (74.3%, CI 59.1–89.5%) presenting with myocardial injury defined as elevation of creatine kinase isoenzyme-MB (CK-MB) and cardiac troponin (cTn) within 3 days after hospitalization and 26 out of 49 (53.1%, CI 38.6–67.5%) showing hepatic insufficiency defined as elevation of glutamic-pyruvic transaminase, glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase and lactate dehydrogenase within 2 days after hospitalization without considering abnormal hepatic function caused by definitive liver contusion. The gene discussed is GPT; the disease is Hepatic failure.
