KRAS and cancer: ARS-1620, as a potent and covalent specific inhibitor of KRAS-G12C, has an encouraging effect on tumor regressions in the KRAS-G12C mutated cancer cell line (Janes et al., 2018) and its outstanding anti-tumor activity in the mouse xenograft model offered the first in vivo verification of a potential approach that directly covalent targeting of KRAS-G12C mutation (Janes et al., 2018).
