AKT1 and gastric cancer: E-cadherin is involved in several oncogenic signaling pathways, including EGF/ EGFR and Wnt/β-catenin40, MAPK 41, PI3K/AKT and Rho GTPase 42 and the HIPPO signaling pathway 42, 43, whereby it plays a role in many tumors, including gastric cancer.
