CD8A and neoplasm: The high abundance of NKG2A expression is restricted to tumor‐specific CD8+ T cells in the tumor microenvironment rather than peripheral tumor‐specific CD8+ T cells or peripheral virus‐specific CD8+ T cells or tumor‐infiltrating bystander CD8+ T cells, thus endowing the NKG2A blockade an advantage of specifically promoting antigen‐specific CD8+ T cell response within the tumor.
