TAGLN2 and breast cancer: Recently, many studies have revealed the important role of TAGLN2 in tumor progression and found that TAGLN2 is dysregulated in a variety of malignant tumor types, including lung cancer (Jin et al., 2016), bladder cancer (Yoshino et al., 2011), breast cancer (Dvořáková et al., 2016) and uterine cervical carcinoma (Yakabe et al., 2016), and is associated with tumor proliferation, migration and even angiogenesis.
