CD160 and COVID-19: In this study, (NCAM1+CD160+)NK cells increased significantly in all of the SARS-CoV-2 infected individuals compared to the HC (Figures 3A, B, and Table 1) and were positively correlated with the disease severity (Figure S4B), suggesting that this NK cell subset may play both protective and pathogenic roles in the pathogenesis of COVID-19.
