Anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK), discovered in 1994, is a transmembrane receptor tyrosine kinase that have been identified in several types of cancer, including anaplastic large cell lymphoma(ALCL) (13), inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (14), and non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC) (5). This evidence concerns the gene ALK and anaplastic large cell lymphoma.
