We found that Stattic (10 μM) greatly rescued the rhLIF-induced migration and invasion of breast cancer MDA-MB-231 (Figure 3A and B) and BT549 cells (Supplementary Figure 3A and B), and inhibited rhLIF-induced Stat3 phosphorylation in MDA-MB-231 (Figure 3C) and BT549 cells (Supplementary Figure 3C). This evidence concerns the gene STAT3 and breast carcinoma.
