CD8A and neoplasm: Compared with the low-IRS group, the high-IRS group exhibited a higher infiltration level of resting memory CD4 T cells (P < 0.05), M0 macrophages (P < 0.001), M2 macrophages (P < 0.05), activated mast cells (P < 0.01), and neutrophils (P < 0.05) and the lower infiltration proportion of naïve B cells (P < 0.01), memory B cells (P < 0.01), CD8 T cells (P < 0.001), activated memory CD4 T cells (P < 0.001), follicular helper T cells (P < 0.01), and activated NK cells (P < 0.05), indicating the tremendous changes of tumor immune microenvironment between high- and low-IRS patients (Figure 7(a)).
