Our previous study revealed that Wnt signaling was augmented in cetuximab-resistant CRC cells and tumors that progressed on cetuximab treatment due to repression of the five negative regulators (DKK1, DKK3, ZNRF3, RNF43 and APC2) of Wnt signaling by MIR100HG-derived miRNAs, miR-100 and miR-125b [7]. This evidence concerns the gene APC2 and colorectal carcinoma.
