CYP2D6 and G6PD deficiency: Out of 11 participants with G6PD deficiency and normal CYP2D6 enzyme activity, 5 (45.5%) had acute haemolysis, whereas none (0/9) of participants with G6PD deficiency and reduced CYP2D6 had acute haemolysis (Fishers’ test, p = 0.038).
