Interestingly, these cytokines act on tumour‐associated macrophage (TAM, CCL2/5 and CSF1), myeloid‐derived suppressive cell (MDSC, CCL2/5 and CXCL1/2/5/8/10) and regulatory T‐cell (Treg, CCL2/5/22 and CXCL10) (Fig. S4, table), which are known to suppress the activation of cytotoxic T‐cells, a central player in anti‐tumour immunity. This evidence concerns the gene CXCL1 and neoplasm.
