Zhao et al. showed that treatment of PANC-1 xenografted mice with Ellagic acid resulted in a significant inhibition in tumor growth; suppression of cell proliferation and caspase-3 activation; induction of PARP cleavage; inhibition of the expression of Bcl-2, cyclin D1, CDK2, and CDK6; and induction of the expression of Bax in tumor tissues.
