NLRP3 and hyperuricemia: Isoorientin, a flavone identified in Gentiana roots, has shown to possess anti-NLRP3 inflammasome activation in in vivo and in vitro models of hyperuricemia by using 5 and 10 mg/kg (0.4 and 0.8 mg/kg HED) dosages in male ICR mice for in vivo studies and 25, 50, 100, 200, and 400 μM isoorientin for in vitro assays (MXC207 cells).
