In the considered in vivo model [81], male Sprague Dawley mice with potassium oxidate-induced hyperuricemia and daily treated with oral 25 and 50 mg/kg (2 and 4 mg/kg) polydatin for 7 days have shown a dose-dependent decrease in IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6, NLRP3, and caspase-1, measured in the kidney tissues, with respect to non-treated mice. Here, NLRP3 is linked to hyperuricemia.
