Our earlier study has already demonstrated that active HJURP promoted cell proliferation through the ubiquitination and cytoplasmic localization of cyclin dependent kinase inhibitor 1A via the mitogen-activated protein kinases1/2 and AKT serine/threonine kinase 1/glycogen synthase kinase 3 beta pathways in hepatocellular carcinoma [8]. This evidence concerns the gene HJURP and hepatocellular carcinoma.
