As shown in Supplemental Figure 1, A–H; supplemental material available online with this article; https://doi.org/10.1172/JCI152187DS1, we conducted 3 common behavioral tests related to depression: the sucrose preference test (SPT), the open field test (OFT), and the tail suspension test (TST) on day 42 of the CUMS protocol, and we performed immunohistochemical analysis using antibodies against myelin basic protein (MBP), the most common cellular marker for myelin. Here, MBP is linked to depressive disorder.
