We compared the cytokine and chemokine receptor gene expression data of seven BRAFV600E mutant and three wild-type (BRAFWT) melanoma cell lines and found five receptor genes (TNFRSF12A, TNFRSF18, IL4R, IL13RA, and CXCR5) that were significantly overexpressed in the WT cell lines compared with the BRAFV600E mutant cells (Figure 3). This evidence concerns the gene CXCR5 and melanoma.
