PTX3 and cancer: In the TS25-vs-TS35 and TS25-vs-TS45 results, the five most significant differentially expressed genes were mainly related to cancer with a role in carcinogenesis (leukemia, gastric cancer, breast cancer, etc.)(CCKBR, GSTT1, ARID5B, TPT1, EXTL1), antioxidant (GPX1, SELENOW), angiogenesis (ANGPTL2, PTX3), and erythrocyte morphology (SELENOW).
