In both BMI- and WC-defined obesity, the MuHO phenotype had the highest mean and median ALT (45.3 and 43.6), AST (26.2 and 25.1), HS-CRP (4.7 and 3.8), and HOMA-IR (4.0 and 3.6), respectively, compared to the MHO, MHN, and MuHN groups. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
