Although other ETS factors—such as ETV1, ETV4 and ETV5—and AR targets—including SLC45A3 and NDRG1—were reported to participate in gene fusions in PCa, TMPRSS2-ERG fusions are the most frequent, characterizing both initial and advanced stages of the disease [12,13,74,75,76]. The gene discussed is TMPRSS2; the disease is posterior cortical atrophy.
