Furthermore, we validated the protein expression of the highlighted genes CXCL11, CXCL10, and CXCL5 using the immunohistochemical results from the Human Protein Atlas, and found that the staining intensity of CXCL11 was higher expressed in CRC tissues versus normal colon tissues (Figure 7G), which was consistent with the mRNA result. The gene discussed is CXCL10; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
