The over-expression of UTP18 in neuroblastoma promotes the expression of VEGF, Bcl-2, HIF1α, and c-MYC, improves the adaptability of tumor cells to environmental stress, and reduces the death of neuroblastoma cells after exposure to hydrogen peroxide, hypoxia or glucose deprivation (Yang et al., 2015). This evidence concerns the gene MYC and neuroblastoma.
